Night Photography Course (Part I and Part II)
Part I - Night time Cityscapes...
This is the first of my two night time photography workshops, a city-based course starting with at least an hour or so indoors looking at some of the theory behind night photography and capturing the bright lights of the city.
After the indoor theory we will take to the streets to try out your knowledge and to learn a little more in practical situations.
This course is currently running on Sunday's in January and November from 4:30pm to 8:00pm from on the Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside - what a location, with amazing architecture and bridges right on the door step, from the iconic Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the Sage to the Tyne & Millenium Bridges. If the weather causes problems for us then we will be able to stay warm and dry inside the venue, so you don't need to worry about the course being cancelled due to weather - it won't be! There are also a couple of spots we can use and keep under cover!
Items you will need to bring for this course include:
Maximum Group of 12. £45
DEAL TIME!
When the nightscapes course is on I also run a full day basics course from 10am to 16:00 - book a basics course and this nightscapes course for the reduced price of just £100 - Simply select your choice of date and course from the menu below....

Part II - Northumeberland Sunset/Astro/Aurora Workshop.
The second of my two night time photography workshops is an adventure!
Weather will play a massive part of how this workshop plays out. The course will take you to the heart of Northumberland to shoot some great night images, if we are extremely lucky we could even shoot the aurora - NOTE: the aurora is not regularly seen in the North of England and is not predictable at all, so I make no guarantees that you will see the aurora on this workshop, in fact you are most likely not to see it.
The course will begin with some discussion of some of the basics of night/astro photography, before we move on to our location(s) for the evening to get some shots!
This course takes place in some very rural areas and there will be some walking, crossing of walls and fences along the way so anyone with heart conditions, disabilities or other physical impairments should think very carefully before booking this course.
Items you will need to bring for this course include:
4 hours tuition - maximum group of 10 individuals.
Dates, pricing, venue and online booking will be here eventually -for now please drop me a message to book: [email protected]
