About me...
Hi! I'm Nigel, the proud owner of Inspire an Image Photography
and Inspire an Image Wedding Photography.
I have always had a passion for photography, shooting all sorts of
landscapes and animals in my early days on basic compact cameras,
before my job moved me on to my first Digital SLR.
A family member decided that maybe I should take my hobby to the next level
and bought me my very own DSLR and so I began my journey to where I am
today, only with a couple of courses and workshops and the rest pretty much
just self-taught, to the point I now run my own workshops, from basics courses
in Newcastle to Landscape Workshops in Iceland, Slovenia and more!
A former colleague took a great leap of faith and booked me to shoot
their wedding, my very first wedding ever. Without them I have no idea
if I would have broken into this area of photography, but now over
15 years on, I am proud to say I have shot a whole lot more
weddings and love shooting them every time!
With a background in IT training, amongst other things,I also decided
it was time to branch out with the business and develop
a series of courses, some of which are still in development, but those
that have been run have a 100% recommendation record from the
course feedback, something else I am very proud of.
After learning more about the technical aspects of photography and how to
create a different and unique image I moved on to submit images to bodies
such as The Guild of Photographers, winning several awards and achieving
lifetime membership to The Photographers Bar in my first year of membership
with the guild, repeating this fete since and I was also announced as one of the
top 10 international wedding photographers with the guild!
I hope my friends, family, colleagues and clients all continue to give me the
unbelievable support that they already have, that way I will never be short
of recommendations and bookings.

business just drop me a line at [email protected]
