It's been an amazing year, full of ups and downs, but with some amazing images produced along the way! From landscapes in the Highlands of Scotland, to weddings in Venice, pre-wedding shoots in Florence, dog and baby portraits in the studio and much more, it's been a great year. It's so hard to pick a small selection of images from all of that work, so instead, I've created a video that covers the whole year, enjoy.....

Today's wedding at Walworth Castle was another awesome day. With Penny from the UK and Alexander from the Netherlands there was a real international feel to this Christmas time wedding, Walworth Castle even rolled out the Dutch flag on one of the flag poles! Some laughter, some tears of joy, numerous great speeches and some amazing company, this wedding was up there with the best of them! Here's the preview video from the day, enjoy....
PRESS RELEASE Local photographer achieves national acclaim! Local photographer Nigel Hepplewhite has been granted membership of the 'Photographers Bar'. Membership of the 'Photographers Bar' is a unique distinction awarded to those photographers who have successfully had images assessed by the Guild of Photographers over the course of a year and have attained a score that evidences an exceptional level of professional skill and consistency throughout that a full year. The Guild of Photographers is a highly respected association for all photographers and it's competition attracts up to 1000 images for judging by an an expert Panel of Judges each month. Points are given to entries and these are then totaled at the end of the year. Those who reach the required threshold are then awarded membership of the 'Photographers Bar'. That membership of the 'Photographers Bar' is a distinction that is very difficult to achieve - in fact less than 100 photographers have achieved it in the 3 years since its inception, during which time over 30,000 images will have been entered for assessment by photographers across the UK and from overseas. Guild Director Lesley Thirsk said "I am delighted for Nigel as this is a great achievement! Submitting and having images assessed every month for a year and reaching the required standards to become a member of the Photographers Bar is very very demanding. It illustrates his commitment, skill and consistency. He should be very proud of what he has achieved!" On hearing the news Nigel said "I am very proud to have achieved this in my first year with The Photographers Guild. Delivering quality images on a regular basis is no easy task and I hope that joining such a select group of less than 100 photographers is a huge acheivement for me." You can find out more about this award and the Guild of Photographers at their website www.photoguild.co.uk and more about Nigel at his website www.inspireanimage.co.uk If you have any further questions please either contact Lesley at the Guild lesley@photoguild.co.uk or Nigel at nigel@inspireanimage.co.uk Nigel Hepplewhite of Inspire an Image Photography confirms International Wedding Photographer Status What a privilege and a pleasure it is for me to announce that I can now officially say I am an International Wedding Photographer! Late 2015 saw me flying off to the United States of America, for my first real interenational commission, shooting the wedding of Hannah and Alex at the beautiful Piney Branch Golf Club in Upperco, Maryland. Hopefully there will be many more to come! The trip was an absolute whirlwind, with a flight out to the states on the Friday, shooting the wedding on the Saturday and the return flight leaving late Sunday evening, but what a great experience and a great day! Here's the preview video from the wedding, I hope you enjoy it... After working with Meghann Clancy previously at a gig inside St Mary's Lighthouse, Meghann contacted me again to commission some work for the launch of her new EP 'Lay it on the Line'. We both worked through some of the songs, the meaning behind them and then the main EP title itself and we drew up some concepts and ideas. We decided on the image above...
We picked out the location and went for it! The night we chose was a little windy to say the least, but we cracked despite a few interruptions from locals who I think were intruiged to see what we were doing more than anything else, at least one lovely couple offered us a cuppa while we were working too!! A few hundred images later and we were confident we had what we needed to put everything together and to fill a few other needs for Meghann too with a few more generic promo shots. Back to the computer to edit the images up and create the artwork. A couple of weeks later and we were there! I was dying to share to the image, but held out and Meghann launched the EP recently.
